About This Tool

So, you need to figure out how many days are between two dates? Yeah, me too—all the time. Whether you're planning a trip, tracking a project deadline, or just curious how long it’s been since that weird thing happened last summer, a days calculator is one of those simple tools that actually saves you from doing mental math (or worse, pulling out a calendar and counting on your fingers). This isn’t some fancy app with ads or a subscription. It’s just a straightforward way to plug in two dates and get the number of days between them. No fluff. No confusion. You type, it calculates. Done. I built this because I kept forgetting how many days were left until my vacation. Now I don’t have to.

Key Features

  • Works with any two dates—past, present, or future.
  • Accounts for leap years automatically (yes, even that weird February 29 thing).
  • Gives you the total number of days, including the start or end date depending on your need.
  • No sign-up, no tracking, no nonsense. Just pure date math.
  • Works on your phone, tablet, or desktop—doesn’t care.

FAQ

Q: Does it include both the start and end date in the count?
A: That depends on how you use it. If you pick January 1 and January 3, the calculator shows 2 days—meaning the time between them. But if you're counting "days including both," just add one yourself. It’s not rocket science, but I get why people ask.

Q: What if I pick the same date twice?
A: It’ll say zero days. Because, well, it’s the same day. But if you're counting that day as a full day (like a one-day event), just remember to count it separately. The tool gives you the gap, not the duration including both ends.
